On Wednesday 19 March, 19:00-21:00, at Hall of Theoretical Sciences, Sina 3, room 6, our invited guest, Ms. Natalia Panourgia, will talk about: «Diplomacy and new technologies: a case study of neurotechnology».
Natalia Panourgia is a Greek diplomat holding the rank of First Counsellor, with 15 years of experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece. She has held diplomatic postings in Montenegro and Chile, before serving for five years in Geneva, where she represented Greece at the Human Rights Council and played a key role in introducing the first Human Rights Council (HRC) resolution on neurotechnology and human rights. She holds a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She is currently pursuing an online Advanced Diploma in Internet Governance from the DiploFoundation of the University of Malta.
